Breakfast at the Garden Grill

One of my favorite dining experiences in Disney World is the Garden Grill for an early breakfast. I like to book my reservation before the park opens. Here are some of the perks of eating an early breakfast at the Garden Grill.

When you go to the Garden Grill for breakfast, they serve you everything that is on the menu. Yes, you read that right, you get everything that is on the menu. First they start you off with your beverage of choice, a cinnamon roll and fruit. Next, they bring you scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon and Mickey shaped waffles with chocolate dip, syrup, ketchup and tomato salsa. Lastly, if you liked what you ate but didn’t have enough, you can ask the server for more and they will bring you more. Everything is so delicious you just might want seconds.

Besides the amazingly delicious meal, the Garden Grill is a character dining restaurant. You will meet Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Each character will come to your table for a meet and greet. There are no Photopass photographers, so you will have to take your own pictures. The characters do sign autographs at the Garden Grill, so have your pens ready for when they come to you. They come one at a time and are so much fun to meet there. I greatly enjoy meeting the characters at the Garden Grill.

Another perk of eating at the Garden Grill before the park opens is that Soarin’ and Living with the Land are right downstairs. As soon as you finish your meal, you can run downstairs and get on line for the rides. There is barely any wait if there is a line at all.

Eating an early breakfast at the Garden Grill is definitely a must do every time I go to Disney World. The incredible food, meeting the characters, the friendly service and being able to get on the rides first make this a Disney experience you will not want to miss.
